What we're building

peep

Public open-source project

Watch AI coding agents work from your terminal. peep reads local session logs from Claude Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI, with project switching and a focused view of individual agents.

Works from local logs without an API key. Built for people who want to understand what their coding agents are doing.

cltree

Public open-source project

A terminal file explorer designed to run alongside Claude Code CLI. Keep your project files close while working with a coding agent.

Aigo

MVP in development

A workflow for part-time staff departures and replacement hiring. The MVP connects departure confirmation, job listings, applications and an employer's applicant workflow.

Public intake and app-store availability are still being prepared.

Layo

Design platform in development

A local-first design platform with a Rust document engine, a web editor and MCP tools for AI-assisted inspection, editing, validation and export.

Team workflows and product maturity are being developed. Availability and capabilities depend on the project release.

Building with Claude

Today, peep and cltree support Claude Code users through local logs and terminal workflows. They do not require a Claude API key.

Our next step is to evaluate Claude API assistance for code and document analysis, design workflows in Layo, and drafting job descriptions in Aigo. These are evaluation plans, not released API features.

Before release, we will measure accuracy, latency and cost, minimize the data sent to the model, and require human review of generated output. Hiring decisions remain with people.

As customer usage grows, suitable released features could generate ongoing API demand. We do not yet claim API revenue, customer scale or production usage.

Independent by design

MonkeyBuilder brings developer tools and practical web and mobile products together under one independent studio. Our focus is making software understandable, useful and easier to operate.

Our developer tools support Claude Code workflows through local activity logs and terminal interfaces. The published repositories provide a direct view of the products and their implementation.
